KYS began its journey in the transport and construction industry, where the founders developed a deep understanding of engineering, durability, and functional design. Following the success of their ovens, KYS identified an opportunity to expand into kitchen mixers, applying the same design philosophy, robust performance, thoughtful innovation, and modern aesthetics.

KYS began on WordPress but migrated to Shopify in 2025 to streamline their eCommerce operations and support international growth. As their global presence grew, they recognized the need for a localization solution. KYS Norway was performing well in Norway and began to attract buyers in other countries. But there was a problem:
